S<span style=\"color: var(--color-text); font-size: 1rem;\">eg\u00fan Laney (2001) y Gantz y Reinsel (2011), l<\/span><strong style=\"color: var(--color-text); font-size: 1rem;\">as caracter\u00edsticas que definen el Big Data son volumen, variedad, velocidad y valor,<\/strong><span style=\"color: var(--color-text); font-size: 1rem;\"> por ello es muy importante<\/span><span style=\"color: var(--color-text); font-size: 1rem;\">\u00a0tener la capacidad de entender <strong>el valor de los datos y aplicarlos a la actividad<\/strong>.<\/span><span style=\"color: var(--color-text); font-size: 1rem;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: var(--color-text); font-size: 1rem;\">El dato por s\u00ed mismo no tiene valor si no tiene un <strong>objetivo de ejecuci\u00f3n<\/strong>.<\/span><span style=\"color: var(--color-text); font-size: 1rem;\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>En el mundo interconectado que vivimos, la informaci\u00f3n que compartimos en Internet es fuente de conocimiento para que las organizaciones puedan recopilar y procesar a mayor escala datos textuales masivos, sentimientos u opiniones hacia un producto o marca. La crisis de la Covid 19 ha reactivado a las compa\u00f1\u00edas a construir oportunidades basadas en el Big Data, porque constituye una ventaja competitiva cuando se convierte en un recurso, tanto para reducir los costes como para mejorar las ventas de la empresa tur\u00edstica.<\/p>\n<p>Para que una empresa pueda aprovechar la inversi\u00f3n en Big data, deber tener claras algunas cuestiones: <strong>\u00bfCu\u00e1les son los objetivos del negocio? \u00bfPara qu\u00e9 necesito los datos? \u00bfCon qu\u00e9 finalidad van a ser aplicados? \u00bfCu\u00e1l es el aprendizaje de medir para innovar?<\/strong> El sector tur\u00edstico es una de las primeras industrias que ha acelerado la transformaci\u00f3n digital para entender el comportamiento de los turistas.
